Last updated May 19, 2026
This notice explains the cookies and similar storage technologies (collectively, “cookies”) that PublicOptions uses on our website and dashboard, and the choices you have. For broader information about how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small piece of data a website stores in your browser. We also use localStorage and sessionStorage, which work similarly. We refer to all of these as “cookies” in this notice.
2. Categories we use
| Category | Purpose | Examples | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Authentication, session continuity, CSRF protection. The Service cannot function without these. | sb-access-token, sb-refresh-token (Supabase Auth) | Session — 1 year |
| Functional | Remember preferences like theme and last-opened dashboard tab. | theme, dashboard-tab | 1 year |
| Analytics | Aggregate, privacy-preserving page-view counts. No cross-site tracking and no advertising IDs. | First-party, IP-anonymized | 30 days |
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share data with third-party ad networks.
3. Your choices
- Strictly necessary cookies cannot be turned off without breaking the Service.
- Functional and analytics cookies can be cleared at any time from your browser settings.
- Most browsers let you block or delete cookies — see the help pages for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
- We honour the
Sec-GPCGlobal Privacy Control header where applicable.

We will update this notice when our use of cookies changes. The “last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
